पूख्यौली कहाँ हो भन्ने प्रश्नमा धरान भनिन् जमुना राईले । तर वान्तवा राईहरुको पुख्यौली धरान हुन सक्दैन । धरान १०० वर्ष अगाडि मात्र बनेको बस्ती हो । त्यसैले धरानका सबै मानिसहरु बेग्लै ठाउँबाट आएर बसेका हुन् । जमुनाको परिवारमा निकै लामै बसाईसराई हुन पुगेको रहेछ भन्ने अनुमान भयो । किनभने उनी धरानसमेत पुगेकी रहेनछिन् । शायद धनकुटा भोजपुर संखुवासभा कतैबाट रामबहादुर राई जीवन चलाउनको निम्ति धरान झरे । धरान एउटा ठूलो व्यापारिक केन्द्र हो । जहाँबाट पूर्वी पहाडी जिल्लाको निम्ति सम्पूर्ण सामानहरु र बसहरु लाग्ने गर्दछ । सुगम जिल्ला भएको र त्यहाँबाट केही अवसरहरु पाइने भएकोले नै होला रामबहादुर राई बसको पछाडि लागे । र बसबाट उनको जीवनमा धेरै परिवर्तन ल्याइदियो । विस्तारै काठमाडौमा नै बसाई सर्न पुगे । हो त्यही काठमाडौको बानेश्वरमा जमुना राईको जन्म हुन पुग्यो २०४४ सालमा । उनीभन्दा पहिले दाजु ठाकुर राईको जन्म भईसकेको थियो । र उनीपछि बहिनी यमुना राई । आमा चुनमाया राई मगर को साथमा ५ जनाको परिवार थियो उनको । उनले बानेश्वरकै रत्नराज्य माविमा अध्ययन गर्न थालिन् । त्यहीबाटै एसएलसीसम्मको अध्ययन सिध्याईन् । त्यसप...

This February, Nepali literature will go one extra mile ahead when the Online Nepali Literature Forum will host the first Online World Webcam Poem Competition 2008. The forum has already called the writers to book their participation which will remain open until February 9, two days before the competition is to be held. According to the organisers, any one having interest in Nepali literature from around the world can participate in the competition to webcast his/her poem through Yahoo, AOL and MSN messengers by adding sahityasagar@yahoo.com in your messenger address book. The Forum said evaluators will be based in three countries around the globe and will remain unidentified by the competitors. Language will not be the bar for competition, the competitor can recite poem in his/her mother tongue.
